PTO MEETING

APRIL 9, 2008

 

ATTENDEES:

 Sarah Williams, Becca Merritt, Jay Sutter,  Joye DeBonis,  Melissa Novick,  Tracy Buckner, Teresa Westendorf

CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order at 6:03pm by Melissa Novick and Tracy Buckner motioned to begin.

ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING:

Minutes from the February 2008 meeting were read.  Melissa Novick motioned to accept

GOOD NEWS WILLOWVILLE:

Katie’s corner is ready to be set up.

TREASURER'S REPORT:

Treasurer’s report was passed out to attendees.  Becca Merritt motioned to accept.

DISCUSSION & DECISIONS

    Mrs. Branhnam asked for money for a plaque in honor of Matt Maupin   Becca Merrit motioned to accept and Joye DeBonis seconded the motion.

Teacher appreciation week was discussed and planned.   

Teresa Westendorf will be in charge of nominations for the 2008-2009 PTO board elections.

Teacher retirement gifts were discussed.

6:45 motion to adjourn by Melissa Novick,  Tracy Buckner  seconded the motion.  Meeting adjourned.
