FEBRUARY WILLOWVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTO MEETING Feb. 13, 2008
ATTENDEES: Laura Nazzarine, Sarah Williams, Becca Merritt, Jay Sutter, Joye DeBonis, Melissa Novick, Tracy Buckner, Jennifer Hickey, Candy Creel, Donna Arnold, Susan Henize, Shannon Linder, Lynn Mack, Mary Taylor, Jeannine Hance, Beth Flanigan CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by Sarah Williams and Joye DeBonis seconded the motion. ACCETPANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING: Minutes from the Dec. 2007 meeting were motioned to accept by Tracy Buckner and Melissa Novick seconded the motion. GOOD NEWS WILLOWVILLE: Dan Kemplin has a new member to his family….. Welcome Jaxson James! TREASURER'S REPORT: Not finished at this time ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPDATE: Discussed and voted to purchase white boards Joye DeBonis motioned to purchase 2nd by Melissa Novick Request to give 1st grade $240.00 dollars for two zoo visits -motion to approve by Sarah Williams 2nd by Donna Arnold. Request to purchase a cake for 4th grade for Ohio’s Birthday - motion to purchase by Sarah Williams 2nd by Joye DeBonis A discussion on carnival themes narrowed it down to three: Aloha, Willowville Walks to Future, & Patriotic Theme Motion to accept the themes by Lynn Mack, 2nd by Beth Flanigan DISCUSSION & DECISIONS: Laura Nazzarine updated PTO on Charmin Bear. It is a done deal PTO wants to move forward with Katie’s Corner and storage shed 250.00 will be given to Glen Este for After-Prom party.
