PTO MEETING

March 12, 2008

ATTENDEES:

CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order at 6:03pm by Sarah Williams and Julie Carter motioned to begin.

ACCETPANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING:

Minutes from the February 2008 meeting were read.  Judy Gingrich motioned to accept the minutes. Melissa Novick seconded the motion. Motion carried

GOOD NEWS WILLOWVILLE:

Penny war has begun.  Doing well!

Kindergarten had awesome dibble scores

Fourth grade thanked the PTO for a successful celebration of Ohio’s birthday

TREASURER'S REPORT:

Treasurer’s report was passed out to attendees.  Joye DeBonis motioned to accept the report.  Melissa Novick seconded the motion. Motion carried

ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPDATE:

Volunteers needed for Scholarship

Help needed for library Reading Corner

Shed for tractor is in process

COSI coordinator needed for the day

Warrior Warehouse is doing great

Last round of Box Tops collection will be next month

Asking for volunteers for Spring Carnival

DISCUSSION & DECISIONS:

Second grade asked for $200.00 for field trip; PTO will discuss privately and decide

6:45 motion to adjourn by Susan Henize. Debby Corotis seconded the motion.  Meeting adjourned.
