PTO MEETING

May 14th 2008

ATTENDEES:

Sarah Williams, Becca Merritt, Jay Sutter,  Joye DeBonis,  Melissa Novick,  Tracy Buckner, Teresa Westendorf, Debbie Corotis, Dawn Craft, Denise Castle, James A. Barger, Amy Reich, Veronica Weaver, Christy Balmos, Debbie Cunningham, Barb Clark, Judy Gingrich, Peggy Hanneken, Cindy DeComo, Kris Marrs, Patrick Rexroate, Debbie Funk, Shannon Linder. CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order at 6:03pm by Sarah Williams and Cindy DeComo motioned to begin.

ACCETPANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING:

Minutes from the April 2008 meeting were read.  Cindy DeComo motioned  to accept Debbie Corotis second the motion.

GOOD NEWS WILLOWVILLE

·        Awesome time at food fight, Teacher appreciation was a success.

·        Katie’s corner is ready to be painted.

·        Dennis Castle said the warrior warehouse went great this year kids loved it we are down to our last pencil.

Box tops are in the lead by Mrs. DeComos class.

TREASURER'S REPORT:

Treasurer’s report was passed out to attendees. 

Mrs. Brown explained that there was NO money

PTO BOARD will sit down together and revise the budget for the 2008-2009 school year

Major economic adjustments need to be made

Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Williams gave ok to Susan Henize to go ahead and order student planners for next year.

Market Day made 1,900.00 dollars this year   Thank you Amy Reich

Carnival made 6,600.00 this year.

Judy Gingrich motioned to accept treasurers report and Cristy Balmos 2nd the motion..

DISCUSSIONS and DECISIONS

Mrs. Nazzarine explained the Scripps program. Something that might draw in money for next year.

 150.00 will be put in for field trips next year.
