Meeting called to order at 6:35 by Sarah Williams

3^rd place in presidential fitness award

Math-night had 294 participants

Walk-a-thon raised $20,875

Great turn out and response from WC teachers- thanking PTO for food and drinks and warm welcome

Treasurers Report

Jannis Brown resigned as Treasurer of the PTO

Dawn Craft has replaced Jannis as the new treasurer.

Dawn brought everyone up to date on current finances of the PTO

Market Day has brought in $200 so far this school year

Warrior Warehouse starts 10/14 during all lunches

Grandparents Dinner 10/20- 200 tickets have sold as of this meeting date (400 is sellout)

Thank you Donna Arnold….fantastic job!!!!

Carnival Themes: College sports,  Fractured fairy tales, Barnyard Kids, & Lost in Space

Carnival is scheduled for 3/21/09

By-laws: Jay plans to have a copy for November PTO meeting. A copy will be sent to all PTO members in December to be voted on.

Nothing resolved on by-laws at this point

PTO will place book in library in honor of Eric Johnson

Announcements & Updates

Limo lunch was Friday 10/10 for $200 level prize winners

Chuck E Cheese Night is 10/16

Skate Night/Costume Contest is 10/28

Thank you to Mrs. Thacker for taking care of PT Conference night dinners
